Northeastern Caroline County in eastern Maryland... * Until 530 PM EDT Sunday. * At 745 AM EDT, minor flooding continued along the upper Choptank River. The flooding was caused by runoff from the heavy rain over the past few days. Minor flooding is expected on the Greensboro Carnival Ground and in a few backyards along the river. Flood WarningModerateWorcester...A FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT SUNDAY FOR SOUTHWESTERN WORCESTER COUNTY... At 630 AM EDT, the river gauge along the Pocomoke River near Willards reported a stage of 13.2 feet and the water level was slowly falling. The Nassawango Creek near Snow Hill reported a stage of 7.5 feet and was slowly falling. Earlier reports indicated Route 12 at Snow Hill was closed. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Snow Hill, Longridge and Whiton. Flood waters are moving down the Pocomoke River and Nassawango Creek toward Snow Hill.
